• Working knowledge of practices, tools and materials used in cleaning, minor maintenance, and repair of buildings and equipment
• Self-starter, able to work alone
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position
• Fingerprint clearance through New York State Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability
• Evidence of an open, collaborative style that fosters teamwork and common purpose
• Proven people skills and effective communication with a sense of humor
• Willingness to become an active, engaged and visible member of the Pal-Mac community
• Clear communicator in oral, written, and electronic communication
