Job summary

Tahoe Truckee Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant in Special Education for the 2025-2026 school year. The role involves assisting teaching personnel in supervising and instructing students with disabilities and performing clerical tasks in support of teaching. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and have proof of graduation or a college degree. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred. This is a part-time position of 2 hours daily, 5 days a week for 195 days a year.

Purpose Statement

The job of Instructional Assistant Special Education is done for the purpose/s of assisting assigned teaching personnel in the supervision and instruction of physically/emotionally handicapped and/or learning disabled students as assigned; and performing classroom clerical tasks in support of the instructional process.
