Job summary

SubstituteHealth Associates in Minnesota is seeking a substitute health associate for Waconia Public Schools. The role involves providing skilled nursing services, medical treatments, health education, evaluation, health screening, medication administration, and maintaining health records when the regular health associate is absent.

Eligibility requires LPN or RN licensure; First Aid and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• LPN or RN licensure required

• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, general nursing, first aid, triage or public/mental health preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing services and medical treatments

Eligibility:

Job Description

The substitute health associate will be responsible for providing skilled nursing services, medical treatments, health education, evaluation, health screening services, medication administration, and the maintenance of health records in the absence of the regular health associate.

Wage

The substitute health associate pay rate is $130.00 for a full day and $62.50 for a half day.

Orientation:

All applicants offered placement on the district’s substitute list are required to attend new substitute orientation.
