Job Overview

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Substitute Group Fitness Instructor to lead scheduled exercise classes aimed at developing and maintaining positive fitness levels for residents in a Senior Living Community (Assisted Living and Independent Living Facilities) in Warren, NJ.

This is a substitute position with required availability during scheduled class times:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• 10am-11am

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduled group exercise classes for residents, focusing on flexibility, cardio, strength, balance, and standing exercises.
• Design fitness classes that promote positive fitness levels for seniors.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Fitness Instructor through an accredited organization (e.g., ACSM, NSCA, ACE, IDEA, SFA).
• At least one year of experience as a Fitness Specialist, preferably in senior services.
• Strong computer skills; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
