Position Summary:

Elementary Satellite Lunch Program Driver - Part Time. Substitute Driver for Lunch Delivery as needed during the school calendar year plus training.

The person needs to be a self-starter, team player, and must be able to push and pull heavy wheeled items onto and off of the lift gate truck for each delivery and pick-up without assistance.

Responsibilities include:

1. Delivery from York Kitchen to 4 or more schools daily, including hot boxes, coolers, supplies, lunch trays, and supplies for 4 Elementary Schools and other deliveries as necessary to all 14 District Buildings.
2. Maneuver a 14-foot lift gate truck safely and in a timely manner on school grounds.
3. Communicate using email and computer systems used in the District for communication and yearly training.
4. Help sort items to be delivered daily, fill vending machines, unload lunch trays and all pans at the end of the day, and assist with stock and dish room when needed.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Duties as assigned.
