Job summary

Ellington Public Schools Food Service Department is seeking applicants for Substitute Food Service Workers. The rate of pay is $17.43/hr. Selected candidates will serve lunch, operate kitchen equipment, portion items, and perform daily cleaning.

Applicants must stand, walk, and move items up to 40 pounds. Background checks (state and national) and a DCF check are required. Anyone chosen for an initial interview will be contacted.
