Job summary

Arc Broward is seeking a Substitute ESE Teacher to support students transitioning from high school toward adult services and workforce readiness. Compensation starts at $22.55/hour and may be negotiable based on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, social services, education, or related field.
• Must have ESE Teacher Certification upon hire.
• Minimum of 1 year experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Valid FL driver's license and successful level II background check, physical and drug screen.
• Must be 21 years old or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the student to develop strategies, make choices, follow through on responsibilities, and take risks.
• Use effective, respectful communication to build rapport with stakeholders.
• Participate in TIEP meetings for long-term substitute assignments.
• Maintain collaborative professional relationships and follow ethical standards.
• Contribute to program evaluations and help set organizational priorities.
