Job summary

Westminster Public Schools seeks a Substitute Educational Support Professional to assist teachers, support literacy activities, and help manage day-to-day classroom tasks district-wide.

You will work with students, staff, and parents, promoting safety and confidentiality while supporting instructional activities and student wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must pass various pre-employment background screenings.
  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Bilingual desirable.
  • Must be able to follow directions and work without close supervision.
  • Ability to promote and follow Board of Education policies and procedures.
  • Experience working with diverse cultures, backgrounds, abilities desirable.

  • Work with small groups to focus on literacy skills.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
