Job summary

Montgomery County Educational Service Center in Ohio is seeking a Substitute Educational Assistant to support students at Learning Centers. Start date ASAP. This part-time role pays $18.50 per hour and is located at MCESC Learning Centers.

You will work with students individually or in small groups, assisting with interventions, enrichment, and behavioral strategies under teacher guidance. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio State Board of Education license/permit or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to physically support students with disabilities.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to supporting student engagement, accountability, and development.
• Satisfactory fingerprinting and criminal records check results (provided for free by MCESC!).

Responsibilities

• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce instructional objectives.
