Job summary

Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools is inviting applications for ECFE Classroom Assistants in its Community Education program. Substitutes may work in ECFE preschool classes on an on-call basis, pending background checks and orientation before placement on the sub list.

Position focuses on educational support, behavior guidance, and building positive relationships with children and families, with preparation and collaboration across ECFE sites.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in a preschool setting.
• Knowledge of positive behavior guidance and child development.
• Ability to work as a member of a team and take direction from teachers.
• Ability to multi-task and provide active, nurturing care.

ECFE Classroom Assistants Substitutes

Buffalo – Hanover – Montrose Schools is currently accepting applications for Classroom Assistants for our Community Education Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) program.

We are seeking dependable substitutes who areinterested in working in ECFE preschool classes on an on-call basis. After your application has been reviewed by the ECFE Coordinator, you will be contacted with the next steps in the process to getting on our sub list. Before working as a Sub, you will need to complete a background check and attend an orientation.

Position: Substitute ECFE Classroom Assistants

Location: Community Education - All ECFE Sites

Rate of Pay: $18.00/hour (paid twice/month), this is not a benefit eligible position
