Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical screen.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic cleaning methods, procedures and techniques.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning materials, supplies and equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safe working methods and procedures.
• Performs moderate to heavy manual activities.
• Uses cleaning materials, supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Follows directions and takes initiative to address safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and premises neat and clean at all times.
• Performs touch-up painting and minor repairs as needed.
• Operates cleaning and polishing equipment.
• Cleans classrooms and restrooms thoroughly.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and locker rooms.
• Cleans and dusts fixtures, furniture, and surfaces.
• Inspects and maintains lighting, plumbing, and other building systems.
