Job summary

The Warren County Career Center seeks a Substitute Custodian to maintain a clean, safe environment for students, staff and visitors at the Lebanon campus.

Open positions are 1st and 2nd shifts; hours vary as needed. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and the ability to operate custodial equipment, with a focus on reliability and teamwork to support the district’s mission.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and custodial techniques.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment (snow plow, salt spreader, hydraulic lift, and various hand tools).
• Ability to interpret and communicate Safety Data Sheets.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational and technology skills.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must hold a valid Ohio Driver's License.

The custodian maintains a clean working environment for all students, staff and visitors, ensuring all areas are safe. This work will be completed according to required safety processes to support the achievement of the district's mission and vision.

• High school diploma or equivalent
