Position Summary

Pay & Schedule

Starting Pay: $14.50/hour

Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-5:45PM

Schedule: Part‑Time

Schedule will be published weekly based on program needs and candidate availability.

What You’ll Do

As an Substitute Teacher, you’ll jump in to support our classrooms and help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children.

In this role, you will:

• Help lead fun, age‑appropriate activities and learning experiences that keep kids engaged
• Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Use positive guidance to encourage good behavior and problem‑solving
• Help maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Assist with daily routines including meals, hygiene, and transitions
• Communicate with families and team members
• Help maintain required documentation and licensing standards

Requirements

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Have a high school diploma or GED (or in progress)
• Have childcare experience (preferred, not required – we’re happy to train the right person)
• Have reliable transportation and a strong commitment to being on time
• Feel confident interacting with children and communicating with parents
• Be willing and able to complete required trainings (CPR/First Aid, Mandatory Reporter, etc.)
• Be able to stay active throughout your shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have the ability to meet background check and health screening requirements
