The Brattleboro Food Co-op is seeking energetic Front End Staff to cover shifts and help customers with a friendly, high-energy presence. This flexible role is ideal for students, freelancers, or anyone seeking extra income on their terms.

Responsibilities include cash handling with a POS system, processing payments, answering questions, and maintaining a tidy, welcoming checkout. Shifts include evenings and weekends with strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Able to pick up shifts on an on-call basis.
• Use a scanner and count cash drawer at shift end.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to provide outstanding customer service.
• Positive attitude and good communication.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Cashing out our customers using a POS system
• Money and Credit/Debit Card handling
• Providing customers with the ultimate customer experience
• Answer customer questions or get the answers to customer questions
• Closing out the cash till at the end of the shift
• May include help opening and closing the store
• Side work as assigned, keep work area tidy etc.
