Job summary

Hunterdon Central Regional High School District is seeking a substitute Campus Security Officer to supervise campus activities, monitor entrances, and patrol school facilities to protect people on site.

The role requires prior law enforcement or school security experience and a New Jersey Substitute Certificate or eligibility. The successful candidate must reside in NJ within one year of appointment; position is on an as-needed basis during school days.

Description:Responsibilities include assistance in providing campus supervision during the school day. Monitor entrances, patrol the grounds, buildings, and other areas and facilities of the school, libraries, athletic fields or other public facilities and installations in order to provide protection from harm to persons gathered therein. This is a substitute assignment that is filled on an as needed basis during days that school is open. Available times and assignments vary.

Requirements:Prior law enforcement experience and school security experience is preferred. Ability to work with students and the community in a professional and consistent manner. Candidate must hold a valid New Jersey Substitute Certificate or be eligible to receive one.

The successful candidate will need to reside in the State of NJ within 1 year of appointment.
