The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township is seeking a part-time Cafe Team Sub Member for all MSDWT schools. You will work under cafeteria management to prepare and serve meals, follow recipes, and ensure proper food safety and sanitation.

This role requires a high school diploma and offers $17.00/hour with additional compensation for a college diploma. Location is all MSDWT schools; hours are determined by each location, and duties focus on supporting student nutrition services

• Prepares high quality food items according to recipes and production/service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portioning and temperatures; presents attractively.
• Documents meals according to federal regulations while maintaining confidentiality.
• Cleans kitchen and serving areas after preparation and service; maintains sanitation standards.
• Maintains positive relationships with teammates and building staff.
• Communicates effectively with school and community stakeholders; treats everyone with confidentiality, fairness, dignity and respect.
• Performs tasks safely in a fast-paced environment; keeps workspace clean and safe.
• Performs all duties as assigned.

Position Purpose / Description

UnderthesupervisionoftheCafeteriaManager,AssistantManager,PrincipalandSupervisorofChild Nutrition, the Sub Café Team Member is responsible for performing the following duties:
