Job summary

Richland Newhope. RCBDD in Mansfield, Ohio is hiring a Vehicle Operator responsible for the health and safety of adults with developmental disabilities during transportation. The operator ensures the bus is clean, follows safe routes, and secures individuals properly.

Candidates must have a secondary education equivalent, be able to lift at least 50 lbs, and work a flexible schedule. An Ohio Commercial Driver’s License class B or greater is required, along with First Aid and CPR certifications, providing a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift minimum 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit for long periods, stoop, squat, lift, carry, push, and climb.
• Able to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and welfare of adults with developmental disabilities during bus transportation.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and functionality at all times.
• Safely determine and follow bus routes.
• Ensure all individuals are properly secured during transport.
• Maintain transportation records and respond in emergencies.
