TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Substitute Salary Schedule

Substitute BDAs are limited to working 600 hours per school year.

Position Posting:

Provide supervision and assistance to students riding the bus.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Ability to lift 40 pounds.
  2. Must have a valid First Aid Card.
  3. Must be willing and able to work patiently with and supervise special needs students.
  4. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
  5. Must be able to work well with adults and children with disabilities.
  6. Strength and agility to enter and exit a bus from side emergency exit.
  7. Must be able to work effectively with special needs children.
  8. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
  9. Must have excellent attendance.
  10. Other duties as assigned.
