Job Description

• Under the supervision of the Bus Driver Foreman
• Ability to obtain or currently have a CDL and valid state license to drive a school bus.
• Humboldt County School district offers paid training for the CDL.
• Knowledge of state laws, rules and regulations pertaining to school bus operations and pupil transportation.
• Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
• Keeps to a designated route for the purpose of transporting students to and from school and on special trips in accordance with a designated time schedule.
• Maintain appropriate student behavior management. Follow H.C.S.D. policies, Bus Driver Policy and the Master Agreement.
• Keeps assigned bus clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
