Job summary

ILLINI BLUFFS CUSD 327 SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Substitute Bus Driver to cover routes as needed. The role pays $20.00/hour and requires a valid Illinois CDL with passenger endorsement and a valid Illinois State School Bus Permit, along with a driver’s license held for at least three years.

Candidates must be 21+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Eligible for a district hiring bonus program, including a $1,000 bonus for immediate driving with no extra training and a $500 option

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license for three consecutive years.
• Valid CDL Driver License with passenger endorsement.
• Valid Illinois State School Bus Permit.

Hiring Bonus

• $1,000 - if you are ready to drive with no additional training or licensing ($500 paid after 60 day probationary period, $500 paid at the end of the school year)
• $500 - if you are not licensed and need to be trained ($250 paid after training AND 60 day probationary period, $250 paid at the end of the school year)
