Job summary

Culver School District TRANSPORTATION in Culver, Oregon, is seeking a Substitute School Bus Driver to transport students safely and efficiently. This part-time position requires flexibility to support multiple departments and school activities, with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include operating buses, performing basic inspections, keeping vehicles clean, and reporting to the Transportation Supervisor.

Qualifications

Valid ODE Bus Driver Certification preferred, but not required (District can provide training).
Valid Class B CDL with Endorsements preferred, but not required (Obtain through DMV).
Previous bus driving experience preferred, but not required.
Holds, or is able to obtain, CPR and First Aid Certification
Ability and desire to work with children
Propane fueling experience preferred, but not required.
Fingerprinting and Criminal History Check at employee’s expense is Required once hired

Duties assigned to employee include, but are not limited to, cleaning of buses and inspecting the vehicle to insure safe operation.
Safety and welfare of the students is always the top priority.
The school bus driver reports to the Transportation Supervisor.
