Responsibilities

• Operate school buses safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Transport students to and from school, activities, and events.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment, ensuring all safety equipment is in place.
• Monitor student behavior during transit to ensure a safe and respectful atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff regarding transportation schedules and procedures.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues to the Transportation Department promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading of students, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on policies and safety protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Transportation Department.
