Job summary

Springfield Local Schools seeks a Substitute Bus Aide for the 2026-27 school year. Location is District with various hours and a rate of pay $13.14/hour. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience with special needs students.

Candidates must demonstrate good attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to interact with students, staff and the community. Bus Aide Training is required, CPI training preferred, and ongoing training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with special needs students.
• Record of good attendance and strong work ethic.
• Evidence of good moral character as established in section 3301-20-03 of the Ohio Administrative Code.
• Physical capability to lift students when necessary.
• Ability to work with student, staff and community members.
• Bus Aide Training Required
• CPI Training preferred
• Willingness to participate in future training.
• Alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate.
