Qualifications

• Minimum experience as determined by the board.
• Knowledge of bus passenger safety and discipline procedures.
• Background check, Mantoux test, physical and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal status required.
• Ability to meet physical requirements for duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bus driver in maintaining student conduct on the bus.
• Assist students including those with disabilities and non-ambulatory students.
• Provide written records of violations to Transportation Coordinator.
• Collect personal items left on the bus and deliver to the transportation office.
• Instruct students on passenger safety and ensure seat belts are worn.
• Participate in scheduled emergency bus exit drills.
• Verify all passengers are dropped off at the correct location.
