Job summary

Mansfield City School District is seeking Substitute Bus Aide personnel to assist in transportation services. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be willing to complete a pre-service training program.

The role requires physical ability to lift and assist with handicapped students and the capacity to handle stressful situations. All substitutes must undergo fingerprint testing through state and federal agencies and may incur pre-employment screenings at

Substitute Bus Aide

Bus Aide Requirements (include but are not limited to):

• High school diploma or equivalent.

All substitutes are required to complete fingerprint testing through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation as well as other pre-employment screenings at their own expense.

Conduct

Each staff member shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance and abuse of any prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.

Each staff member shall serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings. Each staff member has a moral responsibility to help instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values
