Substitute Athletic Trainer – Florence Township Memorial High School

School year: 2026-2027 • Start date: August 10, 2026 • Salary: $55.00 per hour • Location: Florence Township Memorial High School

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training coverage for practices, games, scrimmages, and school‑sponsored athletic events on an as‑needed basis.

Requirements

• Valid New Jersey School Athletic Trainer Certificate issued by the New Jersey Department of Education
• Valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License issued by the New Jersey Board of Medical Examiners/Athletic Training Advisory Committee
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Ability to provide support for injury prevention, emergency care, athletic documentation, and return‑to‑play procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with student‑athletes, coaches, parents/guardians, administration, and the school physician as appropriate
• Must pass a criminal history background check
• Appointment is subject to Board of Education approval

Preferred

• Prior experience working with high school athletic programs
• Flexible availability for after‑school, evening, and occasional weekend events
