Title: Substitute Associate Preschool Teachers
Job Location: Cedar Street Campus
Reports to: Early Childhood Director
Job Type: Contracted through Edustaff

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of high school diploma; GED, or equivalent required
  • Must meet State qualifications to work directly with students
  • Willingness to complete training as required for childcare licensing
  • CPR and First Aid Certified, or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with or caring for young children from diverse backgrounds in a group setting
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance record

Job Description:
  • Would be asked to come in when regular employees are absent
  • Assist with the implementation of the daily program under the direction of the Lead Teacher
  • Provide care and ensure the safety and well-being of students
  • Provide breaks to ECC employees for lunch and planning, as scheduled by the Director
  • Assist with general sanitation and organization of classroom and areas of play
  • Assist with preparing and serving food / snacks
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information about students and their families
  • Facilitate and supervise group outdoor and indoor play
  • Be flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of students and the program
  • Collaborate with colleagues and the director to ensure a cohesive program and a fun environment for students
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director, and/or designee

Salary/Benefits: $14.50 per hour; paid through Edustaff

Days/Hours: Follows student school calendar, as needed

Start Date: 2024-2025 School Year
