Catalyst teaching staff support the planning and implementation of Catalyst's programming for children ranging in age from infants to school age, depending on the location. Assistant Teachers must facilitate age-appropriate activities, support children's social and emotional development, and ensure children are supervised at all times in a healthy and safe environment.
All teaching staff should demonstrate behaviors essential for successful programs, including positive interactions, maintaining respectful and safe environments, punctuality, active participation in indoor and outdoor activities, and physical and mental readiness to meet children's needs.
Staff will be exposed to indoor and outdoor elements and should be capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 15 lbs, navigating various terrains, and supervising outdoor activities and field trips.
