Job description

We are looking for caring individuals who have a passion for helping children learn and grow and making a difference in the lives of children and families every day.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience working with young children.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist with and participate in all center routines, including nap, meals, bathroom, circle, group, and outside times.
2. Assist teachers with planning and preparing for daily activities and implement plans with small groups of children when necessary.
3. Create an emotionally responsive, caring, positive, and accepting environment supportive of the individual development of each child.

Midd-West High School, Middleburg, PA
LEWISTOWN CHILDREN’S CENTER, Lewistown, PA
West Snyder Elementary School, Beaver Springs, PA

HOURS & SALARY:

Monday – Friday, $14.96-17.40 per hour

Rate of pay based on experience:
High School diploma: $14.96/hour
2 years’ experience: $15.56/hour
CDA: $16.81/hour
Associate or Bachelors Degree: $17.40/hour
