OUC – The Reliable One in Orlando, FL seeks a Substation Technician II to join the Trans, Substation Construction & Maintenance Division. Work with crews to maintain and test substation equipment, assist with high and low voltage switching, and help train junior technicians.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Florida driver’s license, Class A CDL and CIP clearance ability within six months. Compensation ranges from $79,872 to $87,547 annually, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Florida Driver’s License.
• Class A CDL (required).
• Tanker endorsement (preferred).
• CIP clearance within six months of hire.
• Substation Technician III sign-off book completed.
• Safety certifications maintained through Substation Technician III.

Responsabilités

• Work with crews maintaining and testing substation equipment under supervision.
• Assist with high- and low-voltage switching activities.
• Review daily job assignments and safety procedures.
• Prepare vehicles, tools, and equipment for assignments.
• Support training of junior Substation Technician IIIs.
