The role focuses on structural calculations, pile planning, and drawing production using AutoCAD, with collaboration across civil, electrical, and project teams. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering and 2+ years of experience, plus knowledge of AISC steel design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of civil/structural engineering experience.
• Understanding of steel design per AISC and structural design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with Bluebeam and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Eagerness to learn PV pile design tools and solar-specific design methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations with guidance to ensure codes and project requirements are met.
• Assist in pile plan production, analyzing foundation loads and soil interactions.
• Support development of structural drawings and reports using AutoCAD and industry tools.
• Implement redline markups accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure consistency between calculation reports and drawing sets.
• Participate in QA/QC and update documents per reviewer feedback.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical, and project management teams for cohesive execution.
