We're Hiring: High Voltage Substation Structural Engineer!

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Substation Structural Engineer to design, analyze, and oversee structural systems for electrical substations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in structural engineering principles, high voltage equipment foundations, and substation infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable power transmission systems.

Location: Pomona, CA (Hybrid - Reporting Onsite/Site Visits on Wednesdays and Thursdays)
Pay Rate: $86.01/hr. on W2
Duration: 18 months or longer
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Flexible start time
Role: High Voltage Substation Structural Engineer
Note: Site visits as required throughout the Northern/Metro West Region of the company's territory

What You'll Do:

  • Design structural foundations and supports for high voltage equipment
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations for substation components

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor Degree in a Scientific/Technical/Math field
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in substation engineering and design
  • General knowledge and experience with guides, standards, codes, and methods to perform complex assignments

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Seven (7) years or more years of engineering experience
  • General knowledge and experience with regulations, guides, standards, codes, methods, and practices necessary to perform complex assignments for a specific discipline, various installations, or services
