Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Portland, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead power delivery projects from proposal through closeout.

You will define scopes, budgets, schedules, and quality controls while coordinating engineering teams and managing non‑engineering components such as permitting and construction management. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least seven years of related experience, including two years in project management.

  • Oversee non‑engineering components such as public involvement, environmental permitting, right‑of‑way acquisition, and construction management.
  • Lead QA/QC processes to ensure world‑class quality.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff, assistants, coordinators, CAD technicians, and engineers.
  • Represent HDR in marketing and proposal development for new opportunities.
  • Travel may be required for project execution and business development activities.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management concepts including Work Breakdown Structure, Physical Percent Complete, Earned vs Planned Value, Cost To Complete, and Estimate At Completion.
