Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks a Project Engineer to join the Portland, OR area ( Tigard, OR ) office.

You will lead conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of substations, coordinate with civil, protection, SCADA, and environmental teams, and support project management from planning through energization. The ideal candidate holds a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of design experience; strong communication, and teamwork; a PE license is preferred; occasional

Qualifications

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering required; 6+ years project/design experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication; strong organization and planning.
PE license preferred; ability to oversee design personnel on a project team.

Responsibilities

Conceptual, preliminary, and final detailed design of substations; material procurement and commissioning support.
Coordinate with SMA groups including civil, protection, SCADA, and environmental disciplines.
Lead design staff and mentor junior engineers, ensure quality and schedules.
