Dashiell seeks a Project Engineer to drive design and execution of high voltage substation projects. Based in Raleigh, NC, you will coordinate a multidisciplinary team and manage schedules, budgets, and client communications.
You will apply NEC/NESC/IEEE/ANSI standards, develop diagrams, and ensure quality across projects while traveling as needed. A PE license and 6+ years in HV substation engineering are required.

The Project Engineer performs engineering and design duties as well as organizes all activities required for the development and implementation of high voltage electrical substation projects across a multidisciplinary team of drafters, designers, and various levels of engineers. The Project Engineer drives project schedules and budgets for multiple projects at a time and functions as a Company contact for clients and vendors. The position will be based in our Raleigh, NC office located at 11000 Regency Pkwy, Suite 107 Cary, NC 27518 and will report to Dashiell’s Vice President of Engineering.
Employee may be called upon to perform any or all of the following functions:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree from an accredited university; a power focus is preferred. Must be a licensed Professional Engineer; if registered in a state other than where the engineer will practice, the employee must be able to obtain a license within eighteen months of date of hire. A minimum of 6 years of direct experience and proven knowledge in high voltage (138kV and above) electrical substation engineering and design is required.
