Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited college or university.
• 3–6 years of experience in substation physical design (69kV–500kV) preferred; candidates with no experience but interest may be considered.
• FE (EIT) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete discipline engineering designs and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate and prepare design details, plans, and drawings.
• Interface with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects as required.
• Adhere to project scope, schedule, and budget on all assigned projects.
• Assist with project execution, work processes, and procedures to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Use strong verbal and written communication with team members and clients.
• Attend client-organized project meetings as required.
• Work with field engineers to resolve construction issues.
• Incorporate safe work practices into all activities.
• Establish, promote, and assure quality on all project work.
