Title : Substation P&C Designer

Location : Remote US

ICF is seeking a Substation P&C Designer to work on relay, protection, and control projects for high voltage substations from 12kV to 500kV, under the guidance of the Electrical Project Lead. What you will be doing :

Responsibilities include designing and preparing:

• Protection and Control Drawings: Substation Relay One Lines and Three Lines
• AC / DC Schematics
• Substation Panel Layouts
• Substation Wiring Diagrams and Cable Schedules
• SCADA and Communication Diagrams
• Point-to-Point Wiring Diagrams

Coordinate with physical, settings, and drafting disciplines to ensure quality. Interpret vendor information, apply client standards, and follow QA/QC processes. Continuously improve engineering skills and knowledge.

Minimum qualifications :

• Associate's degree in drafting or high school diploma with equivalent technical design experience
• 1+ years of wiring design experience, including developing single lines, schematics, relay panels
• Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MicroStation

Preferred skills :

• Understanding of AC/DC control diagrams and point-to-point wiring
• Ability to assist lead engineers with initial design requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of industry standards like NEC, NESC, IEEE, ANSI
• Experience with technical plans, blueprints, and drawings

Pay range: $60,927.00 - $103,576.00, based on experience, skills, and location.
