Qualifications

• Understanding mechanical concepts and good mechanical skills.
• Ability to read electrical one-line, schematic and wiring diagrams; manuals and construction drawings.
• MS Office proficiency and dependable teamwork.
• Willingness for 24 hour call out and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing of substation equipment (breakers, transformers, batteries, cables).
• Perform substation switching and grounding procedures.
• Install, construct and maintain substation equipment and buildings.
• Inspect and maintain switching stations, equipment, and grounds; service customer installations.
