Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on experience with electrical substations, including construction, maintenance, testing, commissioning, or outage activities.
Willingness to travel to job sites across Texas as needed.
Prior safety representative experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Provide on-site safety support for substation construction and maintenance.
Participate in daily tailboards and job briefings.
Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Skills
Understanding of substation-specific hazards
Effective communication with crews
Safety training (OSHA, NFPA 70E)
Experience in energized work protocols
Education
