Job summary

A leading energy solutions company is seeking a Field Safety Representative for electrical substation projects in Texas. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in electrical substations, focusing on safety compliance. The role involves on-site safety support, daily engagements with field crews, and the identification and correction of hazards. Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with electrical substations, including construction, maintenance, testing, commissioning, or outage activities.
• Willingness to travel to job sites across Texas as needed.
• Prior safety representative experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site safety support for substation construction and maintenance.
• Participate in daily tailboards and job briefings.
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Skills

Understanding of substation-specific hazards

Effective communication with crews

Safety training (OSHA, NFPA 70E)

Experience in energized work protocols

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
