A leading engineering firm is seeking a Staff Substation Engineer to develop design deliverables for high-voltage electrical power substation projects. This role involves preparing design packages, calculations, and supporting field inspections. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and has at least 3 years of electrical engineering experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program required.
• 3 years of electrical engineering experience preferred, consulting experience is a plus.
• Successful completion of FE or PE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop design deliverables for high-voltage electrical power substation projects.
• Prepare substation design packages and calculations.
• Support field inspections for substation facilities.

Skills

Strong knowledge of AC/DC fundamentals

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

3 years of electrical engineering experience

Education

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related degree

Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
