City of Lake Worth Beach in Florida is seeking a Substation Engineer to support GRIP-funded improvements, with primary responsibility for construction, inspection, and maintenance of substations and network systems.

This full-time exempt role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years in substation engineering; you will inspect equipment, manage projects, and respond after hours for emergencies.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in substation engineering.
• Experience with substation design and maintenance.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Provides technical training and coaching to other engineers or staff.

Aufgaben

• Inspects and maintains substation equipment.
• Operates and maintains relays, reclosers, regulators, circuit breakers, transformers, and underground network equipment repairs.
• Trains others and reviews installation/maintenance manuals.
• Completes project reviews and management during maintenance or capital projects.
• Available after hours for emergency and troubleshooting calls.
