Job summary

Eversource Energy is hiring an Electrician in Western Massachusetts, within the Substation Construction Department. Candidates must have a high school diploma and MA Journeyman Electrician license, plus a valid driver's license and CDL with Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain).

Overtime and emergency work may be required; shift work and possible Saturdays are expected. The role requires CAST testing, the ability to work in adverse weather, and reporting to the job-site as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent) required.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Overtime and emergency work availability; CAST Test may be required.
• Shift work with potential Saturdays; four 10-hour workweeks may be scheduled.
• Ability to work in inclement weather and outside assigned district; job-site reporting may be required.
