Job summary

You will coordinate multi-package design and construction efforts, verify contractor milestones, and ensure adherence to BPA standards and codes. This role requires engineering credentials, project oversight experience, and strong QA discipline.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with ABET accreditation or equivalent education/experience.
• Professional registration/licensure in engineering (PE) or FE exam, endorsed by boards.
• Education must cover core engineering science topics and math as described.
• Time-in-Grade/CTAP/ICTAP eligibility as applicable.
• Foreign/equivalent education must be evaluated per US rules.

Responsibilities

• Serve as COR for complex substation engineering capital projects and coordinate with transmission strategy.
• Perform technical evaluations of contractor proposals and prepare engineering SOWs.
• Provide technical review, oversight, and QA of project designs, layouts, and construction packages.
• Coordinate schedules and track multi-package delivery to ensure integration and compliance with standards.
• Ensure engineering packages meet project requirements and grid integration parameters.
• Monitor contractor performance and address deviations or non-conformance under BPA protocols.
