• 5+ years of substation physical design experience.
• Strong AutoCAD skills and knowledge of substation equipment.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and develop complete design packages.
• Knowledge of IEEE, NESC, NEC and ANSI standards.
• Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, organisation and independent working skills.

• Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, organisation and independent working skills.

Preferred Experience

• MicroStation, AutoCAD Electrical or Substation Design Suite.
• Civil 3D, Inventor or Revit.
• Control building design, including panel layouts, cable trays and AC/DC load centres.
• Grounding, conductor-sizing or voltage-drop calculations.
