Verdantas is seeking a Substation Design Lead in Fort Worth, TX, with hybrid in-office presence. You will lead the substation design team, drive design strategies, and ensure high‑quality deliverables.

The role emphasizes customer interfacing, collaboration across departments, and on‑time, budget-conscious project execution. Local candidates with strong design background and PETE familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Substation Physical Design is required.
• Local to Fort Worth, TX and able to work in office on a hybrid schedule.
• Knowledge of the PETE System is a plus.
• Excellent communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the substation design team, potentially two designers.
• Interface with customers to capture requirements and provide status updates.
• Develop and implement design strategies aligned with company goals.
