Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented team player to support a range of engineering initiatives. The role involves maintaining spreadsheets and databases, preparing training materials, and assisting in small capital or expense projects.

You will help create project schedules, milestones, and deliverables and contribute to problem solving using engineering principles. Collaboration and independent work are both valued.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED and current enrollment in an accredited college/university.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work on a team and autonomously.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of activities to support engineering initiatives and projects.
• Maintain spreadsheets and databases.
• Develop training documentation and help aids for operational and maintenance tasks.
• Perform clerical activities (document creation, review, and filing).
• Assist in managing small capital and/or expense projects.
• Create project schedules, milestones, and deliverables, including Microsoft Project usage.
• Help resolve issues using engineering principles and practices.
• Support engineering project spending documentation.
• Prepare project savings and justification documents.
