Job summary

Education in ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering, plus familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation, are preferred. This role offers mentorship, potential full-time conversion, and hourly pay of $21.00–$28.00

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Electrical Engineering.
• Demonstrated interest in high voltage power engineering, substation design or renewable energy through internships or coursework.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Strong commitment to learning and professional development.
• Effective written and verbal communications skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support client projects by developing substation layout drawings, plan/elevations, yard layouts, grounding details, and raceway designs.
• Assist in developing substation one-lines, auxiliary AC/DC power systems, and DC schematics.
• Aid in basic engineering calculations and report preparation.
• Contribute to wind power calculations and collection station design.
• Assist in preparing equipment specifications for substation components and construction.
