AECOM has an opening for a Substation Engineer specializing in physical substation design. The role focuses on electrical engineering for utility-scale substations in the power delivery sector, with guidance provided by senior staff.

You will contribute to data gathering, analysis, and detailed design work while ensuring adherence to codes and project schedules. AECOM offers onboarding at a local office and opportunities to advance within a global infrastructure team.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with high voltage substation design.
• Experience in using AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation.

Responsabilidades

• Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.
• Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established procedures.
• Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
• Proposes approaches to solve new problems encountered.
• Identifies discrepancies in results.
• Provides guidance to entry level engineers.
• Performs work with budget and schedule under moderate supervision.
