Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Substation Engineer II - P&C to design high-voltage substations and renewable interconnections.

You will apply NEC/NESC codes, produce one-line diagrams, control and alarm schematics, IO mapping, and related documentation, and collaborate with project teams to meet milestones. The role requires a bachelor's in electrical engineering, two to four years of HV substation experience, EIT certification, and proficiency with AutoCAD or Bentley

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in high voltage substation design (P&C).
• EIT certification or higher engineering license.
• Proficient with AutoCAD or Bentley Microstation.
• Strong familiarity with NEC and National Electrical Safety Code.

Responsibilities

• Develop one-line and three-line diagrams for HV substations.
• Create protection and control schematics and IO mapping.
• Prepare wiring diagrams and related documentation.
• Coordinate with P&C designers and project stakeholders to meet milestones.
