Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance seeks a Construction Services Technician in Crawfordsville, IN to perform mechanical and electrical tasks on substations used in power transmission, distribution, and generation. You will assemble, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components while complying with electrical codes and company procedures.

The role requires hands-on use of power distribution equipment, tools, and diagnostic gear, with willingness to travel, work overtime, and participate in on-call

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical substation construction.
• Military experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment in power transmission, distribution, and generation.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams for installation.
• Perform substation construction tasks including power cable installation, circuit breaker installation, and protective relay panel work.
• Participate in preventative maintenance outages and attend safety meetings.
• Be willing to respond to calls and provide technical advice outside of regular hours.
